This course will take a critical look at the misconceptions that lead to disasters on the fireground, and examine how Incident Objectives, Strategies, Tactics and the other elements of ICS are utilized in practice on a daily basis. It also addresses common misconceptions regarding the use of ICS day to day rather than at large scale disasters and how ICS can be used daily to improve the management functions critical to our responders.
